Runners can now sign up for the 2025 edition of New Hampshire’s popular White Lake Ultra.
The race, which is now organized by Aravaipa Running, will be held May 3 and 4 in 2025 and will include three formats: a six-hour race, a 12-hour race, and a 24-hour race.
The event takes place at scenic White Lake State Park, with a course that goes around the lake and offers dramatic views of Mount Chocorua and other nearby peaks.
In previous years, the event featured a three-mile course. But because of storm damage last year, the 2024 edition featured a two-mile course that stayed close to the lake. And it appears the 2025 edition will keep the two-mile format, as organizers described the course as two-mile single and double track loops.
The White Lake loop makes it a great ultra for runners of all abilities. Beginners who might be intimidated by longer loop distances and challenging terrain get the comfort of a short, flat loop to try. And advanced runners get to push themselves on a very runnable course.
