Plattekill Mountain Race Set for June 2

Some trail runners like races that are flat and runnable. For others, no vert means no fun.

For those who enjoy the burn of vertical climbs, the Plattekill Mountain Race will take place in Roxbury, New York, on Sunday, June 2.

This year will be the second edition of the Plattekill Mountain Race, created by CTW Endurance. The mountain race course is 6.5 miles of ski slopes and trails with a brutal 3,500 feet of elevation gain.

This year’s event also features a 5K option.
