Inaugural White Mountain Endurance Cup Kicks Off in June

A new trail racing series designed to showcase the best of New Hampshire’s White Mountains kicks off in June and will feature races throughout the summer.

The White Mountain Endurance Cup from Aravaipa Running will include four sub-ultra endurance events. The races will be the 23K Chocorua Mountain Race on June 1, the 20K Jigger Johnson on July 20, the 29K Baldface Scramble on August 17, and the 25K Kilkenny Ridge on September 14.

Participants will need to finish three of the four events to be counted in the series standings. Only a participant’s best three results will be considered in the scoring.

Points are awarded based on a runner’s time as a percentage of the race winner’s time. The race winner receives the maximum points (100), and other runners receive a percentage of that maximum.

Men and women are scored separately in their divisions based on the winning time in their division.

Everyone who completes at least three events will receive a White Mountain Endurance Cup medal. Podium finishers will receive prize packs from Adidas Terrex.

The highest overall male and female scorers based on series points will be crowned King and Queen of the White Mountains and will receive invitations to join the Aravaipa Northeast Racing Team for 2025.

Participants must register for each race individually.

The races were created and formally run by White Mountain Endurance Races. But Aravaipa Running is taking over the races in 2024 as the former owners of WME are moving out west this summer.
